Mission Statement

In the Wang laboratory, we are motivated to fight against the world's deadliest animals in human history (mosquitoes) and believe that no one should suffer from vector-borne diseases. We are dedicated to achieve this common goal.

In the Wang laboratory, we aspire to create a community built on collaboration, innovation, creativity, and belonging. We are equal and reject any discrimination. We are exploring the interactions between host and microbiota to address fundamental questions, and developing new technologies using microbiome and genome editing tools for mosquito and pest control.
